Ah, another year coming to an end and another list to remind you of what went down on the internet this year. Last year, we talked about the most Googled people in Pakistan in 2016 and it turned out, you a lot of you were very curious. So with the new list out, we’re going to turn this into a tradition so let’s let’s take a look as to who Pakistanis searched for most this year.
1. Fabiha Sherazi
She was a common fixture on Fahad Mustafa’s show, Jeeto Pakistan. Fabiha started making waves on social media after being sighted on Fawad Mustafa’s show, Jeeto Pakistan. Since then, Pakistanis watched her grace the show with her presence throughout Ramazan transmissions.
2. Nadeem Sarwar
Nadeem Sarwar is well known in the Shia community and is considered by many to be one of the best Noha Khwaan today due to his unique style of recitation. Honestly speaking, I didn’t know too much about him myself until today – guess you learn something new everyday 🙂
3. Fakhar Zaman
It’s one thing to be part of a winning team. It’s another to provide entertainment value on top of your sporting skills. Not many can do this. But Fakhar Zaman is not like everyone else.

4. Rishi Kapoor
Rishi Kapoor had quite a year with Pakistanis on Twitter where he started an online war for some racist tweets during the Champions Trophy. But then he left fans divided with his dying wish to visit Pakistan 🙁
5. Rida Isfahani
I guess leaked videos get some people a little too excited…
6. Faryal Makhdoom
This was her year, wasn’t it? There’s honestly no way I can summarize all the stuff she was in the news for, so you’re welcome to just check out this archive for the roller coaster that was Faryal Makhdooom + Amir Khan (funny how he didn’t make it to this list lol).
7. Javed Afridi
The CEO of Haier had quite the year after his Peshawar Zalmis won the PSL. Also, side note – he is NOT Shahid Afridi’s brother, contrary to what some people think.
8. Ahad Raza Mir
If you’ve been following MangoBaaz’s ShowSha, you already know a lot about Ahad Raza Mir. He single-handedly took the whole country by storm with his drama ‘Yakeen Ka Safar’ and his iconic portrayal of the character of Dr. Asfandyar Usman Ali Khan, aka Dr. Asfi.
9. Hania Amir
2017 was definitely the year for Hania Amir as the shot to the mainstream stage with multiple ads, starred alongside Fawad Mustafa in Na Maloom Afraad 2 and even got embroiled in a bit of controversy.
10. Momina Mustehsan
