The West Indies ladies will play three matches in Karachi against the Pakistani women cricket team
The matches will be played on 31st January,1st February and 3rd February. The venue for all three matches is the Southend club, Karachi.
Merissa Aguilleira, captain of the West Indies women cricket team showed her excitement by tweeting the announcement of team’s arrival
The player posted a video message on Twitter and happily announced that the team has finally reached Pakistan.
She also said that she is happy that the team is visiting Pakistan after so long
She further said, “The people of Pakistan are very passionate about cricket and we do wish to win the series in spite of the advantage that Pakistan’s team has due to playing in home conditions.”
Bismah Maroof, the captain of Pakistan’s women cricket team showed a warm gesture by welcoming the other team
Both the captains were overwhelmed with joy and their pictures while holding the trophy were also shared
The ex-captain of Pakistan’s women cricket team, Sana Mir, also welcomed the guest team and all its members
People appreciated the positive role played by the West Indies to revive International cricket in Pakistan
Shoaib Malik welcomed the guest team and wished good luck to both the teams
Overall the people were happy and excited because cricket has finally come home again
They acknowledged the efforts of the cricket team of West Indies and thanked them for their positive contribution
