Everybody in the world loves to put everything and everyone within categories and assign them labels. It seems easier to identify them. Unfortunately these very labels lead to a bigger problem, later on – stereotyping. Remember how it boils your blood when goras say every Muslim is a terrorist? That’s a stereotype? Your uncle who says all actresses are whores? Stereotype. You think that the girl who wears jeans definitely has a boyfriend (or two)? Spell it with me: S-T-E-R-E-O-T-Y-P-E.
Guys, let’s all make a promise to ourselves that in 2017, we’ll try and not give into stereotyping the ladies, because we hate it when others do that to us, too.
Here are a bunch of stereotypes that NEED to be chucked.
