As we’re all aware, Mohsin Abbas Haider has been giving one statement after another in response to the domestic violence allegations made against him by his wife Fatema Sohail.

Ever since, his career has been up in the air as celebrities tweeted in support of Fatema everywhere. He was also fired from Mazaak Raat as everyone united in support of his wife. People also stepped forth as witnesses to the alleged abuse and took to their own social media profiles to speak up about it.

Sick to my stomach. What gives anybody the right to raise their hand on anyone? Nothing. No excuse.

After his arrest, Mohsin was granted interim bail on Wednesday.

Mohsin rejected all allegations of torture and abuse made against him in court. He claimed that none of them were true again in a second hearing, and stated that he tried to reconcile with his wife but to no avail. He said that he trusts that the truth will come out very soon, facilitated by the justice system.

He also claimed that Fatema is a con-artist and that she offered him money on two occasions.

Mohsin Abbas told the media that his wife has been conning everyone just so she can get money and that she offered him millions of rupees, but he does not believe in taking a ‘single penny’ from anyone.

Mohsin proceeded to inquire why NGOs only speak about women’s rights, and nobody pays attention to men’s rights.

He stated that he believes that men’s voices should also be heard and that it is an injustice to side with an oppressor based simply on their gender. He said that victims should be sided with whether they are men or women and that Fatema will pay for the financial loss he has incurred because of her.

Its not about NGOs for woman or man its about system and how people judge. No matter what no one has right to judge anyone either man or woman and judiciary should stop favoring people man/woman. We are not MUNSAF to give verdict. Let them do thr job and we focus on ours.

Mohsin has said a lot of things ever since he has started to face these allegations. People have taken sides ever since the two parties have given their statements, and it seems that the internet has been divided between both sides of the story.
