Women in Karachi have been left panic-stricken for the past few weeks.
Ever since the news of the Gulistan-e-Jauhar stabber has been making rounds, women have been afraid to take to the streets. A blanket of fear seems to have enveloped Karachiites. While some believe that a serial killer may be on the loose, others are speculating that a terrorist organization may be involved.
While speculation varies, what has remained consistent is the unfortunate news of various stabbings.
Time and again, a new case is reported on the news or in various Facebook groups.
The matter has become increasingly concerning…
…As cases continue to be reported.
There’s also a debate on whether the stabber has been caught or not. Some claim that he’s been arrested…

While the entire case is baffling and horrific at the same time, the fact that women are being targeted has angered many Karachiites. Moreover, the fact that the authorities have, allegedly, yet not been able to identify and arrest this man has also left many people infuriated.
However, through all the panic and confusion, women in Karachi are uniting in protest against the stabber.
Despite the fact that a potential killer wishes to silence these women, they have bravely stepped out to show they aren’t afraid.

Some people saw the protest and pointed out how our concern is only shown on social media platforms.
While others criticized the protest itself.
However, there were people who stood up for the women and lauded them for their bravery.
And others expressed the desire to be a part of the protest.
The entire situation is extremely puzzling and the citizens of Karachi keep hoping that the attacker is arrested soon. However, major props to these women for raising their voices in protest in the face of such immense danger.
