There are images circulating the internet that show members of PIA sacrificing a black goat. According to Tribune, the bakra was slaughtered before the ATR took off, in the hopes of warding off potential damage to the lives on board the plane (and to the plane itself).
After the crash of PIA Flight 661, the technical issues of another ATR plane before it was due to take off and the subsequent resignation of PIA’s chairman. So, you can imagine things must be a bit tense over at PIA…

This is meant to be a gesture of gratitude since the ATR aircraft resumed operations and wasn’t a management decision. But the fact that this happened also speaks to something. And people on the internet also didn’t think sacrificing the goat was the best way to go about thing.

INSPECT THE FUCKING PLANES BEFORE THEY TAKE OFF AND MAKE SURE THEY WON’T CRASH AND KILL PEOPLE.
