By now, you’ve already heard the news of multiple terrorist attacks in Paris. According to different sources, the death toll is currently between 120-150.

Paris has been put on a state of emergency since the incident and the world has reacted by showing their concern and sending messages of love and hope to the people of Paris, in their very trying times.
Unlike France who hasn’t seen an attack of this scale since World War II supposedly, Pakistanis are unfortunately too familiar with this type of situation and Pakistani people expressed their reactions to the Paris attacks.
There were many that expressed their solidarity with France.

Pakistanis probably understand France’s pain better than anyone else right now.
Unfortunately, Pakistan has experienced a significant amount of tragedy at the hands of terrorism.
And that’s why many remembered the Peshawar incident, whose first anniversary is just a month away.
P= Peshawar, P= Paris, P= Pain, P= People

Here’s hoping that we can all forget our differences and stand together despite our religious, cultural, ethnic backgrounds to focus on things that matter – bringing peace to our world because it is our home.
