Hum Television made everyone’s Ramazan, with their daily special ‘Suno Chanda’ starring Farhan Saeed and Iqra Aziz. It was an overnight success, with many falling hard for the delightful show – it was warm, hilarious and had a profoundly big, soft heart. The ensemble cast held veterans of our fraternity, and the show still remains incredibly loved. While fans (including ourselves) began questioning the possibility of a second season, nothing really was confirmed and it eventually seemed like it would never happen.
ShowSha recently spoke to Farhan Saeed, if he’s up for a second season, to which he adamantly exclaimed that he would as long as he felt the script to be fitting
More recently, a correspondent at ‘BBC Asian Network’ spoke to the producer of the show Momina Duraid, confirming that there will be another season of the show
Haroon Rashid tweeted out the breaking news, stating that he had confirmation from Momina Duraid and that season 2 of ‘Suno Chanda’ was in its ‘writing stages.’
