Amidst all the support that the world has shown people of Jhang gathered for a phenomenal tribute to the people of Christchurch
In an astonishing display, around 20,000 worshipers clad in white traditional shalwar kameez and prayer caps gathered at a field to form a human image of the Al Noor mosque, which was the site of incident. Alongside, a number of others formed the words “Islam Is Peace”. To add up to that perfect image, huge flags of New Zealand and Pakistan were also displayed along with a banner that bore the words “Solidarity With Martyrs of Christchurch from Pakistan”.
The tribute was organized by the Muslim Institute, an NGO aimed at promoting peace and stability in the Muslim world.

This tribute is for the 50 people who were brutally murdered but is especially sentimental for the nine Pakistanis who lost their lives in New Zealand
Among the nine innocent lives lost at Christchurch are Naeem Rashid from Abbotabad and his son Talha. Naeem was brave enough to try and tackle the gunman to stop the attack. However, he was unsuccessful and lost his life.
This Muslim man is Naeem Rashid from Abottabad, Pakistan. He sacrificed himself trying to disarm the terrorist at the Mosque in New Zealand. His son Talha was also killed in the attack.
HE IS A HERO. KNOW HIM. 😭
