If you were watching any TV channel in Pakistan, you’d know that Ayyan Ali was allowed to leave Adiala Jail. You’d also know that Pakistan’s TV channels turned into paparazzi. And you’d also know that Ayyan landed safely in Karachi, after which she checked into a fancy hotel. It’s as if politicians, who normally occupy these media outlets, took a break for a day so that Ayyan could get the spotlight.
Fortunately, Pakistan’s twitterati provided everyone commentary on the happenings because the media was too busy playing paparazzi.
People weren’t really pleased at the media. But, what else is new?
