Ten Sports just shut down the rumors
Clashes between Pakistan and India date back to Independence, and every time a tragedy takes place on either side, the other is usually blamed and the common people on both sides suffer.
When the Pulwama Attack took place and Indian agencies blamed Pakistan for it. In more cases than one, bans on Pakistani material in India, and vice versa, are usually a reaction to the other country’s ban, and that’s exactly what was rumored to be happening with Ten Sports.

Ten Sports, which is primarily owned by Sony Television Network in India, was rumored to be not going to broadcast the ICC World Cup 2019 in Pakistan.

This decision was said to have been taken keeping in mind the fact that Pakistan banned IPL broadcast in its country, which took place because India did not broadcast PSL in India. Hence a big chain of restrictions imposed by each country led to the decision made by Sony, or so it was said.
Fans naturally became agitated by the news

Ten Sports Pakistan Main ICC World Cup 2019 K Matches Nashar Nahi Karay Ga— JunaiD_JaAn (@XpOsE_NeWs) April 16, 2019
But the CEO of Tower Sports (Pvt.) Ltd which operates Ten Sports in Pakistan just rubbished all such claims
According to The Nation, Mr. Aly Rana who is the CEO Tower Sports said that Ten Sports Pakistan is a PEMRA-regulated channel. He further stated that Ten Sports Pakistan is owned by MSM Asia Ltd, a UK-based entity, which is in turn owned and controlled by Sony Corporation Japan. So basically, what it means is that Ten Sports Pakistan is not controlled by India but by the larger Sony Corporation headquartered in Japan.

It is upsetting to see the neighboring countries making relations between themselves worse, rather than focusing on the more pressing issues at hand. But at least according to the CEO of the operators, you can see the World Cup on Ten Sports in Pakistan. Regardless, cricket lovers can breathe a sigh of relief that PTV Sports will likely broadcast the World Cup all over Pakistan. So, not to worry in any case.
