Shahrukh Khan is the king of desi cinema, there’s no denying that. He has given feel-good romantic movies to billions of South Asians. He was the be all and end all for a generation but it seems like recently he’s been faltering. The man can’t seem to find his perfect fit as he ages out of his traditional romantic hero roles and this he’s been giving us massive disappointments in the name of movies, lately.
Shahrukh’s latest movie Zero was being highly anticipated
After some trouble with his last few releases like Raees and When Harry Met Sejal this was one that people had been hoping would revive Shahrukh Khan as the respectable king of romantic movies, once again. Sadly that was not to be

After Aamir Khan’s massive Thugs of Hindostan and Salman Khan’s Race 3 being trolled universally, people were wondering how the third big Khan of Bollywood would receive in the name of trolling
This meme had been going around ever since the first look of Zero was revealed and people are now saying that it has turned out to be prophetic.

And critics absolutely hated it
#OneWordReview…#Zero: FIASCO
Rating: ⭐️ ½
Expected so much from this collaboration [SRK and director Aanand L Rai]… Sadly, the flawed writing – especially the second hour – takes the film downhill… EPIC DISAPPOINTMENT… #ZeroReview pic.twitter.com/Hzo1oepata— taran adarsh (@taran_adarsh) December 21, 2018
They were so brutal people couldn’t believe it
Perhaps nothing will mark the end of the "Superstar" era than *Taran Adarsh* panning all three Khans in the same year.
2018 has been a mood. pic.twitter.com/u6DgSK5VIH

I’m pretty sure #Zero can’t be worse than #Race3 😳 How can @taran_adarsh give the latter a higher rating?

These guys just said RIP to Shahrukh’s career because of that
I dont know why i'm laughing 😂😂#KGF vs #Zero pic.twitter.com/6ZEYDoEaal

Some had even been suggesting new strategies for Shahrukh Khan to maybe take his career in a different direction
Try this, SRK.#Zero #ZeroReviews pic.twitter.com/J7YGKFBAon

But there are so many fans of SRK who’re saying it’s not as bad as the reviews are suggesting and that there’s unnecessary hate against him
Given the recent track record of Mr. Khan, I would say take chances only if you go without expecting too much from it beforehand.
Watching #Zero again & audiences are in splits…don’t believe bad reviews about this lovely movie…

If SRK acted in Badhaai Ho it would have gained same trolling like ZERO and if Akki or Ayushman or someone else acted in ZERO it would have heen considered as a masterpiece!! Why so much hatred for SRK? Just because he is super talented? Just because he tries something new? #Zero

The rotten tomatoes and IMDb scores by audience are so much higher than the critics reviews

Also, Malala liked the movie so make of it what you will
Nobel prize winner @Malala has watched #Zero and loved it. She'd like to meet @iamsrk , considers him to be an inspirational figure. pic.twitter.com/b7XBUy4GwL
