With wedding season happening (YUP STILL), it seems as if there is no shortage of makeup artists in Pakistan. Whether it’s party makeup, shaadi makeup or bridal makeup, there is always someone around to give you that extra glam for your night out.
However, to shake things up, we suggest you take a look at Aleena Qaiser’s Instagram account.

Aleena Qaiser, a student from Pakistan, is a self-taught makeup artist that is INCREDIBLY TALENTED.
She creates looks that you won’t find at your typical salon. Or like, lol anywhere.
When speaking to MangoBaaz, Aleena said,
“I first started off back in the summer of 2015 when I came across some makeup/face paint tutorials. I had zero experience. I never bothered to take arts in school and I stayed away from makeup. You would probably laugh if you saw my first attempt at a winged eyeliner!”
“What I love about makeup is that it has no rules. You can use blush as eyeshadow or lipstick as a bruise mark. You can literally change all your features and create illusions and no one can guess it’s you.”
She went on to say, “Something that I would like people to know is that they shouldn’t be afraid to show the world what they’re capable of no matter how many people come in their way to stop them. I had a couple people say I shouldn’t be ruining my face but I guess they had different views on art or none at all!’
When it comes to makeup and beauty in general, there are standards all around the world that promote a single perception of what everyone likes. Aleena is doing a great job of staying original to what she loves.
