Naeem-ul-Haq was the co-founder of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf. He played a major role in the party and it’s growth ever since it’s inception. He served as the Central Information Secretary and President of PTI Sindh.
Naeem-ul-Haq had been suffering from blood cancer for quite a long while. Because of his health, he had to greatly reduce his political activities but was vocal on Twitter and in his support of Prime Minister Imran Khan. He spent his last days at Aga Khan University Hospital in Karachi undergoing treatment for his long time ailment. He passed away at the age of 70.
The Prime Minister, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf and the entire country are aggrieved at Naeem-Ul-Haq’s passing. No matter what political affiliation or biases; everyone sent their condolences.
Prime Minister Imran Khan tweeted that he was devastated about the loss of his oldest and most loyal friend.
Am devastated by one of my oldest friend Naeem's passing. He was one of the 10 founding mbrs of PTI & by far the most loyal. In 23 yrs of PTI's trials & tribulations, he stood by me. He was always there for support whenever we were at our lowest ebb.

Prime Minister Imran Khan tweeted about the two-year-long battle Naeem-ul-Haq fought very bravely. He took care of party affairs and his duties for as long as his health allowed him and always remained optimistic.
In the last two years I saw him battle cancer with courage and optimism. Till the very end he was involved in Party affairs and attended cabinet meetings as long as he was able. His passing has left an irreplaceable void.

The loss indeed is quite great. Naeem-ul-Haq was not only one of the most senior members of PTI but also one of its founding members. He was easily one of the most recognizable faces from the party and the loss will be quite a big void to fill, as PM Imran Khan said.
