As a nation, we’re blessed to have Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah as our leader. Jinnah led the way for the Muslims of the subcontinent. His farsightedness enabled Muslims to have a separate homeland.
To honor his leadership, the Jinnah Park was inaugurated recently in Winnipeg, Manitoba.

The park was inaugurated by Pakistan’s High Commissioner in Canada, Tariq Azim Khan.
In his address, Khan praised the local Pakistani-Canadian community for naming the park in North America after Jinnah.
Khan also referred to Jinnah’s quote in his speech:
He stated, “With faith, discipline and selfless devotion to duty, there is nothing worthwhile you cannot achieve.” Additionally, he appreciated the idea of cultural events acting as a bridge to foster understanding between communities.
Different leaders went on to congratulate the Pakistani community.
Dr. Rashid Bahri, the community leader who initiated the Jinnah Park campaign emphasized on how the park will serve as a reminder to future generations about the great leader.
Moreover, Pakistani Students Association (PSA) Manitoba President, Masroor Khan considered this “historic.”
