A. R. Rahman is an integral part of all our childhood, there isn’t any denying it – from ballads like ‘Chaiyya Chaiyya’ to ‘Ishq Bina,’ his songs remain a sturdy backbone of our incredibly messy love-hate relationship with Bollywood. However his latest venture has not been taken in the most positive light, and I unfortunately also want to stab my eyes (and ears) after witnessing the disaster.
As you all know, the world is anticipating the release of what is the final installment of the Avengers franchise – ‘Avengers: Endgame.’
A. R. Rahman just became the butt of countless jokes online after Marvel released his Marvel Anthem for ‘Avengers: Endgame.’
Yes, you read that correctly. He just released a Marvel anthem…in Hindi/Urdu…with a music video…in India.
While I’m a very big fan of A. R. Rahman, this is a very questionable anthem that’s got me seriously rethinking my love for the musical prodigy.
The music video cuts back and forth to scenes of a zealous A. R. Rahman parading the streets of India with his entourage of backup dancers to various cutaways of the previous Avengers film, ‘Infinity War.’
It’s incredibly awkward to watch to be very honest.
The comments about this godawful anthem have me in FITS OF LAUGHTER THOUGH…
Honestly, what on earth was A. R. Rahman thinking?
COMMENTS ARE SAVAGE!!! Indians are NOT coming in slow!
Honestly, we cannot with these comments.
Here’s the full anthem. Godspeed.
