Instagram and Facebook have had their share of turns when it comes to disappointing users by unexpectedly crashing or going down, and that’s exactly what’s happening right now. As the apps have crashed, people have taken to Twitter to rant and joke about how this is not the first time.

Such technical glitches aren’t the first time that caused Facebook or Instagram to go down

The last big time this happened was back in April when Instagram, Facebook AND WhatsApp were all down and people couldn’t control their trolling back then either. The more interesting thing about the last time was that it came at a time when there was particular scrutiny over Facebook because the US Government had started investigating Facebook’s involvement in rigging elections.
