Going to a beauty parlor is an essential part of every Pakistani girl ‘s life. Be it waxing or getting your eyebrows or upper lips done, each one of us has her own ideal parlor where we feel comfortable. However, there are days when even your favorite parlor ladies mess up and they mess up real bad. Your world goes topsy-turvy and there is nothing that you can do about it, except going through it with utmost poise.

Here is a list of some of the similar occasions, where the parlor ladies left no stone unturned in ruining your otherwise perfect day:

1. “Ye bleach bohat mild hai bilkul pata hi nahi chalay ga aap ko“.

2. “Ap ki eyebrows ki shape sahi nahi hai, main karti hun theek.“

3. “Your ‘stache hasn’t been removed properly. Let me do it.”

“Oh, I think the hot wax doesn’t suit you, after all.”

4. “I know you do your own party make up but let me at least set your foundation, for a better finishing. You have been coming here for so many years, you owe me this, come on.”

Maybe, she did not know what she was signing up for.

5. “Polisher karwa lain, face “clear” ho jaye ga and do not worry about your sensitive skin, we will take care of it.”

6. “Yeah yeah, I will not back-comb your hair a lot”

7. “Balon ki “length” kam nahi karun gee, relax ho kar bal katwain.“

8. “Threading isn’t going to suit your skin type. Let’s try hot wax for your face.”

9. “Aye haye, kitni kali ho gae ho, main kuch totkay batati hun, wo try karo.”

Well, thank you for shattering my already non-existent self-esteem.

10. “Let us put some hair spray, it will keep your hair in place throughout the function.”

11. And the oft-repeated “Koi aur parlor wali dhondh li hai na?“
