Pakistanis Are Trolling Misbah-Ul-Haq After Umar Akmal And Ahmed Shehzad Made Their ‘Legendary Comebacks' Against Sri Lanka

By Maryam Khalid | 6 Oct, 2019

Well. well, well. People warned Coach Misbah about selecting Umar Akmal and Ahmed Shehzad in the T20I squad but guess what? He didn’t listen. Misbah-ul-Haw claimed that they’re both in good form and wished them both well for their performance in the matches.

In the first T20 International held in Lahore, Sri Lanka upset Pakistan with a major 64 runs and took a 1-0 lead in the three-match series.

Umar Akmal, who returned to T20I after almost three years, set the record for the most ducks in Pakistani cricket, by being dismissed at the very first ball.

But Umer Akmal was not the only cricketer disappointing fans. Ahmed Shahzad who also returned to the national team following an absence of over a year was bowled out on 4 runs over just 9 deliveries.

Slow claps.

Pakistani fans are immensely disappointed by these lousy performances and are trolling them immensely.

They are blaming the two cricketers for the team’s failure.

People just cannot let go of Umar Akmal’s groundbreaking record.

Pakistanis are even trolling Misbah-ul-Haq for bringing back these legendary players.

Some fans are seriously pissed off.

Maybe bringing back these senior players wasn’t the wisest decision after all. What is your take on Umar Akmal’s and Ahmed Shehzad’s iconic performance? Tell us in the comments right away!
