You can always expect controversy sprouting from our Good Morning shows. Be it a marital fight on live air, or skin color discrimination, we can always sit back and wait for the next dispute – never a dull moment! Sanam Baloch’s ‘Subh Saverey Samaa Kay Saath’ had a ‘grand finale’ (whatever that means) in the form of a competition where contestants were given fifteen minutes to have their makeup done by professional artists.
The judging panel consisted of model Nadia Hussain and Natasha Ali, and one of the contestants to have makeup done on her was Mathira
While almost every good morning show is about makeup or shaadis or makeup or shaadis, THIS WAS ONE MEGA KARDASHIAN FIGHT KINDA EPISODE.
Halfway through the show, while Mathira was getting her makeup done, she gave a little feedback to the artist at which point Natasha threw some shade ~
“Agar na bataayen, tou thank you so much.” Mathira didn’t respond at this point, and the judges moved onto the next contestant. Natasha just basically spent the rest of the episode telling every contestant to not give feedback to the makeup artists and basically STFU.
During the ‘eye makeup’ session, Sanam asked Mathira what issues she was having as she seemed agitated
Mathira said “I do my own eye makeup, everyone has their own thing. To khair baat aapne jo wahaan ki (regarding Nadia’s comment regarding allowing artists to do their own eye make up).” She asked Nadia “I was not saying anything to you, right?”
Mathira warned Natasha “not to get personal,” and if she had something to say then to “stand here and say it to me”
Nadia said she didn’t appreciate Mathira giving her own ‘Huda Beauty’ palette to the artist. Mathira was reminded that it’s a competition and that the artist had to use her own products by Natasha and both Nadia and Natasha said they aren’t being personal…
ALTHOUGH IT DID KINDA FEEL LIKE THEY WERE GETTING PERSONAL
Mathira then agreed and said she’s saying the same thing too; “don’t get personal”
She told Nadia and Natasha that she has skin allergies and only wants to use specific brands. She said she also won’t risk using someone else’s eyeshadow that might give her “pink eye.”
OH AND THEN NATASHA SAID SHE DOESN’T WANT TO BE A JUDGE ANYMORE AS A RESULT
LOL WHAT A WEIRD EPISODE, MAN
