Good news for EDM fans in Pakistan! After Diplo rocked Islamabad last year, another globally recognized EDM duo is coming to perform live in our country and it’s none other than Krewella. Every house junkie in the country can’t wait for that drop.
Late last year they were denied entry into India because the ladies have Pakistani roots
“It is with heavy hearts that we inform you that due to our Pakistani heritage, our visas have been repeatedly denied and we will not be able to your country for Sunburn Festival”, said the band in a handwritten note on their Facebook page when the Indian government denied their visas.
For those of you across the border, we feel for you.
Well, India’s loss is Pakistan’s gain because the duo just announced they’re coming to the homeland
Krewella tweeted a video message telling their fans that they will be coming to play live in Pakistan as soon as next month.

For those of you unfamiliar with the name, Krewella is an EDM duo that consists of sisters Jahan Yousaf and Yasmine Yousaf. Born and raised in America, the two sisters are of Pakistani ethnicity and have been rocking the EDM world for roughly a decade now. They used to have a third member, by the name of Kris Trindi who left the group in 2014 after a much-heated lawsuit.
The band will perform live with local Pakistani rap artist Adil Omar and electronic music producer Talal Qureshi next month.
As expected, Pakistanis were overcome with joy after hearing this news
