A rather hateful tweet on Iqra Aziz’s glow up has gone viral after the internet came to the defense of the actress.
The original tweet had Iqra’s younger photo when she was 14 compared with her now at 20
…And was captioned with ‘Reminder: You are not ugly, you are just poor’

Iqra’s older sister Sidra took to Twitter to defend Iqra, condemning twitter user ‘xxohsocoldxxx’ for trying to troll
Sidra addressed the tweet, stating that ‘puberty and being in [the] drama fraternity has a huge contribution to it.’
Imagine a ‘xxohsocoldxx’ named person trying to troll your younger sister. In the picture on left, Iqra was 14, you can see me there too with her. On right, she is a 20 year old woman. Puberty and being in Drama fraternity has a huge contribution to it. https://t.co/wZGSho3aTL

Sidra denounced the comparison and put her own glow up photo up to show that ‘money and growing up, puberty and enhancing your fashion sense groom[s] a person a lot’
Her sister
Furthermore, while we are at it, let me post how I looked when i was 16 and how I am today. Just to proof that yes, money and growing up, puberty and enhancing your fashion sense grooms a person a lot. pic.twitter.com/ICCE1da3FR

Sidra, along with other users took to Twitter to question why a Pakistani actress’s fame was positively correlated with an increase in hate
‘Why is [it] that when female actresses hit a sudden wave of fame, and that too because of their skills and hard work, people dig into their old photos…just for the sake of some rts/likes/shares?’
I've been noticing this since a long time, why is that when female actresses hit a sudden wave of fame, and that too because of their skills and hardwork, people dig into their old photos and a make collage comparing to the recent one just for the sake of some rts/likes/shares? https://t.co/dqlDSTu2ay

A trend sparked on Twitter after these varying critiques against the tweet surfaced, whereby Pakistanis posted their own glow ups to support the actress
