Needless to say, Money Heist has gained a lot of popularity and is one of the top picks for desi folks as well. All of us, at least for once, have wondered which desi actors would play each character if the show was made here. In a recent interview, Money Heist’s director, Alex Rodrigo picked Indian actors as cast for an Indian remake.

Vijay Thalapathy as Professor

Could it be the glasses? Also, Ayushmann Khurrana won’t be happy to hear this, since he wanted the role pretty badly.

Shah Rukh Khan as Berlin

SRK is always a wise choice, what can I say? The king reigns supreme.

Ranveer Singh as Denver

Ranveer can pull off a lot of characters with his acting, sure, but would be his type? I wonder if anyone can ever do Denver’s laughng impression.

Ajith Kumar as Bogota

Spot on.

Suriya as Suarez

This has to be the desi-est of all. I can literally hear the DHOOM TANA NA NA music in the background.

Mahesh Babu as Tamayo

I do very much mind the age difference! Also, Mahesh Babu just doesn’t have that wickedness to his face, at all.
