A financial crisis is in full swing after the US dollar peaked at a whopping 150 last week, in its higher ever rate against the Pakistani rupee.
In response to this, actors like Shaan Shahid and Hamza Ali Abbasi decided to offer some economic solutions to the looming rate.
Shaan tweeted out an “appeal to fellow Pakistanis” to buy back all rupees.
Appeal to all my fellow Pakistanis .. #buybackpakRs no matter how little or how big one affords but let’s put in our share pic.twitter.com/e5SQ08QNXY

He went on to say “let’s start with whatever little we have to start with exchange 50,100 or 1000$ and buy back our rupee. We must not question right now. Let’s unite as the threat is mutual. We have a right to disagree with each other but let’s agree on our survival our future.”

…And his little economic advice received interesting feedback by Twitter users.
Ladies and gentlemen, may I present to you the Water Kit of financial schemes. Up there with the wizardry behind the Damn Fund. Pure genius. Give this man a Nobel already. https://t.co/St2oaDQEPs

Tough competition between Shaan Shahid and Rameez Raja. Both trying to outdo one another in making statements regarding issues about which they are totally clueless.

Hamza’s advice was based on his own personal experience; both his mother and sister converted all their dollars into rupees to “strengthen the currency.”
The actor requested fellow Pakistanis to “ditch the dollar” and buy rupees.

While some followers reaffirmed whether or not it was a good idea…

Others shared how they had also converted their dollars.

However many also criticized Hamza’s tweet and stated that buying rupees was not the answer.
The current government was condemned too for not living up to their previous statements of tapping into dollar reservoirs they claimed to have.
Congratulations you just broke economics. This is not how you "strengthen a currency". The IK govt is slowly bringing the ruppee to it's true value according to a free float system. You are doing nothing but causing small fluctuations in this process.

Do you agree with Hamza’s advice to sell the rupee? Will it help the Pakistan economy?
