It is holiday season and most of us are travelling to be reunited with our loved ones, to our native countries or where the heart is – which is family.

With the constant budge in the weather, there is a chance that flights this season might get delayed.

So, here is a list of thoughts that you might get when your flight gets delayed:

1. Will I ever get home?

This thought is as real as it gets. You have been at the airport, with all those gifts wrapped up and put nicely in your luggage, and suddenly your flight gets delayed. Of course anxiety kicks in and you start questioning if you will ever catch a flight.

2. Does the plane have a left wheel?

Remember the scene from the Bollywood movie ‘Maine pyaar kyun kiya?’. Yes, that exact thought runs through your mind, if the plane is functioning OK.

3. You suddenly start noticing everyone boarding other flights

Dekho zara kitna khush horaha hai. Haan, bhai. Halke hojao. Ghar hee jarahe ho. *hkhbdkbjfnnnvoioihuvhur* in your beautiful mind.

4. You start freaking out keh phone bhi dead hogaya tou kya hoga

It’s not surprise that local airports are…well, not that great. There’s not-so-great wifi and agar phone bhi dead hojaye tou??? Well, baki sub tou jaaiz hai but with these new bad boys at the airport, at least our phones would be super charged.

5. Weather bhi zehar lagne lagta hai

If you are somewhere in the north, you start hating the weather for being unpredictable. Smog, rain, ugh! Easy hojao, weather. Ghar jana hai, yaar.

6. This is my last coffee/tea

Time pass karte karte you start becoming a coffee peeni ki machine and only realize it when the cafe person at the airport serves it to you without even asking for it.

7. FOMO hits you like a b*tch

Festive season hai and you obviously do not wanna miss out on the fun.

8. Ghar walon ki ehmiyat ka andaza honay lagta hai

The airport starts annoying you more than anything and bas sirf ghar aur ghar walay yaad anay lagte hain.

9. You get confused if the flight is really delayed or have you missed it

Yikes! This thought can give you jitters because so much khuaari, man!

10. You avoid sleeping kyun k flight miss na hojaye

The fear of missing your flight is real and it keeps haunting you until you board the plan.

11. On every announcement at the airport you feel they are calling out for you

Be it in the loo or resting in the lounge, the only announcement you are waiting for is the one for your flight.

12. You do not want to spend on food because flight pe muft khaana hota hai

Lastly, it all comes down to food. You do not wanna spend more money because already bohat kharcha hogaya hai on the gifts and the air ticket. Now all you are thinking about is the food on the flight.
