Hello, mere pyaase doston. I’m here today with some really, REALLY smoking hot pictures of Fawad Khan that are basically asli aag. Why? Because sometimes, it takes just one picture to get tongues wagging.
1. So here, we have Fawad Kh- oh wait, that’s not him. That’s some kachra burning in the streets. My bad.
I mean, I know you came here for Fawad, but this kinda puts you off a bit, nahi? Kinda unappealing. Almost like it shouldn’t be there, in this article or otherwise. Like in real life. But it is.
2. Okay, NOW: hot pix time.
Oh, wait. Still another picture of us contributing to air pollution. It’s almost like it’s a problem.
3. No idea why these pictures of kachra burning keep showing up. Ugh.
I mean, we do kinda need to pay attention to the fact that these garbage disposal sites are actively releasing greenhouse gases into the environment. Since, you know, that contributes to more heat being trapped within the atmosphere, leading to a rise in temperature.
BUT WHERE IS FAWAD, right?
4. Okay fine, I lied – there aren’t any pictures of Fawad Khan. Jeez.
I did say that the pictures are literal aag. So like, should’ve made the connection, ya know? But these pictures are pretty important. They shed a light on how we’re literally setting fire to our planet, becoming a major part of the problem. But if you’d rather actually look at Fawad, then you can head here.
5. Now, some of you might be enraged ke wtf, these assholes are trying to make Pakistan look bad. Hear me out.
It’s not that we don’t like Pakistan or are on a mission to make the country look bad. We just want you guys to see how we’re killing our planet and what can be done to, well, not kill the planet.
6. “But admin, you promised us pictures of Fawad Khan.”
Haan, uske liye Google hai. Wouldn’t you rather focus on how all of this impacts you directly? It impacts your health, too, you know? It can cause respiratory diseases and can actually have carcinogenic impacts, causing cancer.
7. “But this is deception, admin.”
OR, is it like that time when your friend tricks you into listening to them because they care? Especially since a report released by World Bank stated that more than 22,600 adult deaths in 2005 were due to urban air pollution.
8. Sometimes, we just need to focus on bigger issues, you know?
Especially since, according to the same report, air pollution leads to more than 80,000 hospital admissions every year. And if we keep dumping our garbage for it to be burned later, we’re actually responsible for many of those hospital admissions.
9. The numbers are definitely pretty concerning.
Nearly 8000 cases of chronic bronchitis annually, according to the same report. That’s insane.
10. The report did also state that Pakistan’s urban air pollution is among the most severe in the world.
So, yeah. Isn’t it kinda sorta more important to know these numbers? And actively help stop people from burning kachra or dumping waste in general? It’s a tall order, but still – apni environment hai.
11. Let’s actively try to make sure our country stops looking like this from time to time?
Please? Apna hee ghar hai na?
So you see, at the end of the day, we kinda need to shift our focus to more pressing matters. And it’s not about defaming Pakistan – it’s about accepting that yeah, we have flaws and we’re going to work towards fixing them. We’re kinda the best shot our country has, you know? Should we then really be focusing on the length of someone’s dress or what they were holding?
We can do better, so let’s try to do better?
