These Pakistanis Are Keeping Extremely Inspiring Resolutions For The New Year

By Alveena Jadoon | 31 Dec, 2017

Dil Say Pakistan is Pakistan’s first transmedia campaign. Their work revolves around creating documentaries, music videos, TV shows, radio programs, social media activities, animation series, film festivals and on ground activities across the country to celebrate Pakistan’s diversity, acknowledge its unsung heroes and enable social good.

Dil Say Pakistan is a campaign that wants to introduce healthy social discourse among people from all corners of the country

It is a transmedia campaign to instill pride in shared identity of being a Pakistani, to instigate healthy social interaction using story-telling and community mobilization exercises, and to reclaim public narratives from negative messaging.

As 2017 is coming to an end, they have introduced a new campaign to welcome the new year

Pledge for Pakistan is the campaign introduced by Dil Say Pakistan. In this campaign, people are uploading videos of themselves pledging to do something that they feel strongly about. #DilSayPakistan is being used to carry the message forward. You pledge to work for something and then nominate a friend to do the similar and upload a video on Facebook.

We at Dil Say Pakistan are starting a campaign to pledge for Pakistan as the new year approaches. All you have to do is to pledge something, nominate someone and upload the (public) video using #DilSayPakistan.I pledge to work more for religious harmony in the year 2018 and I nominate my friend Ali Haider to continue the change. Share your pledge and let's do something better as we approach the new year.

This is the message being spread by Dil Say Pakistan to promote their campaign

‘New Years is upon us and so is the tradition of making ourselves a list of resolutions. Every New Years people turn inwards to achieve personal goals. But despite all this, how many of us make resolutions to work for the betterment of the country we live in. Pakistan has seen a detrimental wave of incidents that has negatively impacted not only us the citizens but the world view of our beloved country. This New Years let us make a pledge for our country to make it better, safer and more cohesive. Let us promise to represent diversity and inclusiveness and work together to make a Positive Pakistan.

Join us as we create a pledge chain, for our beloved Pakistan. You can be part of the chain by uploading your video as well with Dil Say Pakistan.’
