A few days ago, a clip from Danish Taimoor’s Ramazan game show went viral after he fat shamed a contestant on the show live. The actor-turned-host was called out on social media for his behavior and the way he treated the lady on his show.

People on social media were really upset with the way he spoke to the guest on his show.

During the show, he kept commenting on her weight and calling her ‘Aunty’. He would ‘joke’ with the other contestants about her weight and how they shouldn’t bump into her.
The woman who he fat shamed, came forward with a video expressing how she felt after the whole incident.
Her name is Mehwish Tariq. She talked about how she kept taking Danish Taimoor’s fat shaming. Mehwish also talks about how she’s been insulted and how people in her neighborhood and family make fun of her for this.

After this video of Mehwish began to get viral online, BOL TV called her back again on the show.
On air, Danish kept talking about how she, and all the people who come on his show are like his family. He also says that she is like a sister to him, and even goes on to say the following; ‘choti choti baaton ko dil pe nahin letay’.
After her second appearance on the program, Mehwish released another video.
She talks about how, even off camera, Danish did not apologize for his words or the way he spoke to her, rather he talked about giving her more gifts to take back home. Mehwish addresses this by saying that Danish gives to many people, however, he disrespected her and has made it impossible to go out without being made fun of. Her basic demand is that he apologize on air, and learn from his mistakes so that he doesn’t hurt someone like this ever again. Mehwish is basically asking for an apology because she deserves respect.

Mehwish Tariq was contacted by a plus size fashion brand for women called Xera. They’ve been helping her to raise her voice against Danish Taimoor and sharing her videos and demanding Danish Taimoor to apologize in public.
