Asim Azhar and Candi are teaming up for something exciting. 

Pakistan’s first music-themed TV series, Candi Meray Dost Meray Yaar (MDMY) is making a comeback this year with its exciting features of friends, love, laughter, and music of course, which gives a promising break from Pakistan’s standard drama serials, portraying sob stories and evil sisters.

So, if you’re done with sadness in Pakistani dramas, we are sure MDMY Season 2 will be a breath of fresh air for you. 

The good thing is that MDMY is promising to deliver over our expectations… because, you know what? None other than our heartthrob, Asim Azhar is making his debut as a music composer and a songwriter.

He is presenting five tracks in the series in five different genres: ranging from a friendship anthem to a perfect mehndi track, and from nostalgia to rock-pop; clearly a song for every mood and every feeling.

While Asim’s young and soulful voice is a part of three tracks which is his duet with other singers, there is a song which is sung by the ever-amazing rockstar, Ali Hamza.

Oh gosh, what more could you want?

While there is plenty to look forward to in Candi Meray Dost Meray Yaar Season 2, we thought we must emphasize on what else to expect from it.

And that is THE TITLE TRACK. It is rewritten by Asim in a way that it is capturing the essence of friendship in a fun, yet modern way. 

The music will surely make us more connected with the characters, relationships and new journeys of life they are embarking on while taking their friendship through a series of events. While the nights are getting longer and bonds are getting stronger, there is surely a lot of fun and music to look forward to in the coming weeks.
