Zardari tried to troll Imran Khan but his speech backfired
A lot of prominent politicians gave their two cents over the Kashmir issue in Parliament yesterday. One of the politicians happened to be Asif Ali Zardari from Pakistan Peoples Party.
In his 14 minute speech Mr. Zardari targetted PM Imran Khan by saying how he would tackle Kashmir incident better
He talked about looking at history and how Bhutto helped the people of Kashmir. And how much his party has done for the region. He then talked about how everyone has always know about the Hinduvta extremist mindset but Imran Khan had ignored it previously when he invited Bollywood actresses come to Pakistan for fundraising and used to frequent Bollywood himself.
But this is when things get even more ridiculous
Mr. Zardari stated that he is from Sindh and a Sindhi through and through. And that the people of Sindh and Bangladesh are the ones who made Pakistan while Muhajirs merely migrated and sought refuge in Pakistan. And that was fine as well because Pakistan was made by Sindhis and Bangladeshis for all Muslims.

Honestly, the point Zardari was trying to make was lost in his ramblings. He then said he doesn’t want to insult Imran Khan since the situation of Kashmir at hand is much bigger than that.
And he was right. He didn’t just insult Imran Khan but every Muhajir who fought for Pakistan and settled in the country.
Zardari insinuating that Muhajirs ran away from India because they were forced to and merely came to Pakistan out of no choice is ridiculous
The fact that it is 2019 and Zardari is still trying to peddle a divisive narrative and referring to those who settled in Pakistan after migrating from what today is India as less Pakistani than others is honestly nauseating to me.
A lot of people reminded Zardari of just how much ‘Muhajirs’ did for the creation of Pakistan.
imagine devoting your entire life, and then your death, to the creation and service of Pakistan… only to have Asif Ali Zardari tell your children ke USS jeson ney muhajireen ko “panah” di. What a joke!
I’m glad you aren’t around to witness any of this… rest in power nanu ♥️ pic.twitter.com/eA18x4Kkqh

2. Their blood was shed.
3. Left thier properties.
4. Offered their talent n resources to the new country.
They deserve respect n appreciation.

They left their homes because they fought for & believed in the idea of Pakistan. Their sacrifices are the essence of this state.
Shame of Zardari for uttering filth against Muhajirs. We all remember what your father had to say for Jinnah & creation of Pakistan. #Muhajirs— Junaid Tauheed (@junaid_tauheed) August 8, 2019
People asked Zardari exactly what had done for the country himself to be saying such big words.
Agar itna hee #Pakistan aapka hai Zardari sahab aur#Mahajir ka nahin toh aaj tak #Sindh mein kia kiya? Karachi ka kachra na saaf hua? Thar mein bhookay mar rahe hain log, jahil aur bekar. Apni awaam ke liye konse barhe teer marliye? @AAliZardari

Zardari sahib what have you done for Pakistan except loot and plunder. You have insulted the people what sacrified everything and came to Pakistan empty handed. They sacrified their family members and you benefited from the" untimely death" of your wife

Honestly, the statement made by Zardari was incredibly problematic
