PTCL is the eternal source of dismay for many people, as it is, thanks to the frequent disconnections. You’ve probably cribbed about your “bad” internet connection, at least once in your life.

Recently, and by recently I mean as early as a few hours ago, PTCL services suddenly went down today. While early on, many dismissed it as just a regular PTCL occurrence, it soon became clear that this particular outage was more widespread.

Amid all the confusion news emerged that there was something wrong with the underwater fiber optic cable

And this explains not only why the PTCL is down but also why some of you on Ufone, or other networks might also be facing patchy services.

Finally, the official account tweeted to clarify the confusion

Interestingly, this “clarification” didn’t really work with the people

And people aren’t really buying the justification.

After all, it’s not the first time this unfortunate outage has happened

So there you have it folks, if your internet is down don’t worry. It’s the same for everybody else.
