KARACHI, PAKISTAN — OP Productions today announced First Light featuring Axwell, an international electronic music experience set for 19th September 2026 in Karachi. Headlined by Axwell one of the defining figures of modern electronic music -FirstLight is positioned as the first concert of its scale and standard ever staged in Pakistan, bringing world-class production, cinematic storytelling and a global touring-grade show to a home audience.

Conceived and creatively directed by OP Productions Founder Omer H. Paracha, First Light takes its name and its identity from the moment of dawn – an immersive, light-led production built around the idea of a new era of live entertainment emerging from Pakistan. The event pairs an international headline performance with a purpose-built stage, large-format visuals and a designed audience experience intended to meet the production values audiences know from the world’s leading festivals.

First Light will feature a curated bill of local artists opening the night ahead of the headline set. The evening is designed as a single cinematic arc – from the first support performance through to the headline show – with the full production, staging and visual language developed to international standards.

First Light is produced by OP Productions, Pakistan’s live-entertainment and concert-production company, as the flagship of a long-term event platform intended to bring international touring artists to Pakistani audiences and to establish the country as a credible destination on the global touring map.

Pakistan is one of the largest untapped markets in global live entertainment. A nation of more than 240 million people — among the five most populous on earth and one of the youngest, with a median age of around twenty — it holds an enormous, energetic and music-loving audience that has never had an international event of this scale on home soil. First Light is the first time in Pakistan’s history that a production of this ambition and international standard is being staged in the country: a market finally ready to be explored, and a moment long overdue.
