Eid has definitely changed shape over the years.
When it comes to fashion, celebration and prep, Pakistanis nowadays know how to keep things trendy, modern and with a touch of tradition along the way.
But one thing that has always remained the same? Mehndi designs. Good ole’ fashioned henna or mehndi designs are there to add just a pinch of magic in our hands to celebrate one of the holiest days in the year. However, we thought, we could help you add a little twist to the way you decorate your palms and we think you’re going to like it.

Dr Azra, our first mehndi artist that hails from Dubai is a chiropractor, designer AND henna artist. Wild.
Her designs use modernity, simplicity and character to literally produce some of the coolest designs I have seen in years.
I mean truly, this is one of the coolest things I have ever seen.
Each design is detailed, simple and absolutely mesmerizing. And don’t worry, if you don’t want to go super crazy, the Doctor has a number of sweet and fun designs that honestly, you may want to replicate after Eid as well.
I know I do.

NEXT! We have another very extremely talented mehndi artist and her name is Karthine Maniam.
Karthine is a graphic artist as well as an incredibly gifted mehndi designer in Malaysia and when we spoke to her earlier this month in an interview, we realized the woman is a gem and we want you guys to take a look at her absolutely crazy different designs.
Now, we understand that many of these designs are a little hard to replicate but for you artists out there, we have all the faith in the world in you. Just take a look and you’ll be inspired yourself.
