The ever-so-adorable Ahmed Shah of Khyber Pukhtoonkhwa quickly rose to fame after his viral TikTok video which featured him saying the infamous  “Peechay Tau Dekho” line.

Look at how absolutely adorable this chubby-cheeked child is. No wonder people can’t stop fawning over him. Anyway, apart from the “Peechay Tau Dekho” video, a video of Ahmed yelling “Oye Basta Wapis Karo” at his teacher also gained momentum online.

People just could not stop laughing over how over the top Ahmed appeared when he got angry. There has been a heated debate over his attitude and whether or not the media should be exploiting him as they seem to be. However, in no time at all, Ahmed has become the nation’s darling and he’s definitely become an overnight sensation.

…Ahmed has definitely experienced more stardom in his young age than most of us do in a lifetime.

And it seems like, there’s no stopping the rise of Ahmed’s fame. In fact, Ahmed’s even started to make waves across the border.

India’s comedy queen, Bharti Singh recently made a TikTok video lipsyncing to Ahmed’s famous “Peechay tau dekho” lines.

But the latest celebrity to be a part of Ahmed’s fan club is none other than Virat Kohli.

A video making rounds on the Internet features Kohli doubling down in laughter as he attempts to utter Ahmed’s signature dialogues in the same fashion as him.

We can’t help but gush over how cute the whole thing is! It seems like there is no stopping the rise of Ahmed Shah’s star power. However, this rise in fame has also brought alongside concerns from the public who have qualms regarding the exploitation of the child.

The audience’s acceptance of Ahmed’s bad behavior and mockery over his anger is alarming, to say the least.

Most notably, Pakistani celebrity, Sajal Ali raised her voice over the media’s portrayal of Ahmed as a mere prop on tv shows by sharing this video made by Youtuber Arsalan Naseer, titled, “Pathan ke Bache ko Bachao” on her Instagram.

Other people on Twitter have also shared their unease about using a little child as a pawn by networks to increase ratings.

How do you feel about this? Do you believe it’s all light-hearted humor and refreshing to see Ahmed on screen or are you also concerned for the child’s well-being? Let us know in the comments below.
