Sunday’s final was tough on Indians. It was a brutal loss and a poor win for the usual stellar Indian champs. Underdogs Pakistan had a victorious win against its arch nemesis, and social media was naturally aflame in battles between impassioned Pakistanis and agitated Indians.
Virat Kohli proved himself a true captain after his humble remarks in the post match press conference
He praised Pakistan and congratulated their efforts throughout the tournament.
And also how real he was on the pitch with all the banter with Pakistani players afterwards.
