This Pakistani man spent 14 months of his life making the trip from Germany to Pakistan.
As the world becomes more of a global village and we feel closer to people all over the world, the physical distance between us remains the same. And Miran Hussain felt the distance and then some.
Miran walked all the way from his doorstep in Germany to Pakistan; a total of 7,400 kilometers. And it took him 14 months to complete his journey.
Miran Hussain is a Pakistani man who lives in Freiburg, Germany. He decided to attempt a feat; walk all the way from his home in Germany to Pakistan, where he has relatives. And he set off on his journey 14 months ago and made it to Balochistan through Iran just recently.
Before he got to Iran, which was his last stop before his final destination of Pakistan; he crossed almost all of Europe by foot before he made his way to Turkey and then finally entered Asia. After this, he finally entered Iran from where he entered Pakistan through Balochistan.
But as he entered Balochistan, he was not allowed to walk by authorities and had to sit in a car, which he admitted was less than ideal for him since he was no longer accustomed to the speed of cars.
The most challenging country for him to walk through was Iran since the heat and terrain was not friendly to those choosing to walk. But on his way in the midst of the hottest weather and toughest terrain, he encountered multiple friendships and experienced the kindness of strangers which helped him make his way through the trickiest part of his journey.
He’s currently in Quetta according to his update on Facebook being hosted by his amazing family. But his journey is not over yet and he plans on walking even more! Let’s see where Miran makes it and whether he comes to any of our cities as well!
