This man from Karachi got caught trying to marry for a third time

When a couple gets married, they vow to honor each other and be partners for life as long as they are married. Usually this means that whenever there is any interest in someone outside of this marriage, the couple would probably discuss or at least try to discuss about the interest in breaking the marriage so they can pursue other relationships. However, given that Muslim men have an “allowance” to be married more than once, they sometimes take advantage of it unfairly. Something similar happened when this guy was intercepted by his first wife during his wedding reception

This man from Karachi got caught by his first wife while celebrating his third valima ceremony

Asif, a groom who was secretly getting married for a third time, got caught by his first wife and her family at his on-going valima reception.

While his angry wife screamed out accusations, Asif stood there with a smug face and quite a remorseless expression seeing it all go down. Little did he know, things won’t stay in his favor for long.

When Asif couldn’t make the situation any better, he ran from his own valima to the police station

However, his wife wasn’t done yet. She got a hold of him, once again, when he was leaving the police station and continued to beat him up. It all ended when Asif ran for his life and hid beneath a nearby truck.

Things took a turn for the bizarre when this man from Karachi claimed to have contacted the police but got arrested himself

Well then. I guess third time’s not a charm. Asif got beaten to the point where his clothes were ripped. His wife said that “He is a patient of hepatitis and ruins the lives of girls by marrying them.”

While Asif defended his right for a third marriage, his wife demanded legal action against him for deceiving her and his second wife.

Marriage is not a joke. While getting married four times in Islam is legally allowed, the rights of wives are repeatedly stressed upon. Making a mockery of these laws is disgusting. At the same time, violence is never the answer.

Do you think Asif got what he deserved? Let us know in the comments.
