Irum Azeem Farooque, ‘Pakistani philanthropist, motivational speaker and former parliamentarian,’ according to her Twitter Bio, was the cause for some stir yesterday when she posted a picture of her feet on Instagram.
Oh and just some context for you all, Irum was previously elected to the Provincial Assembly of Sindh as a candidate of Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) on a reserved seat for women in the General Election in 2013. However in August of 2017, she quit MQM and announced that she would be joining Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI).
So, the lady is pretty as involved in Politics as it gets. Seeing someone of the caliber get involved in the middle of a foot fetish is pretty entertaining, to say the least.
Suffice to say, Pakistanis went full on tharki.
Which is weird. Since they were just feet but ok.
Since the Insta post, Irum caught wind of the craziness and took to Twitter to comment on the fact that she felt as though she somehow must have set a world record.

At which point, most of us were just confused as to what to do with this information.
