This couple met on TikTok and damn, love really knows no app. 

Meeting the love of your life through social media is not a foreign concept anymore. People meet their soulmate through Instagram, Facebook or Twitter all the time these days. But would you imagine even apps like TikTok are helping people find love?

Maya and Himanshu are pretty popular on TikTok. In fact, one of their videos even went viral.

Himanshu was a fan of Maya on TikTok. He would comment on her videos and even talked to her on her live stream on TikTok once but she didn’t really remember him. After a while, Himanshu followed Maya on Instagram and sent her a few messages. She saw the messages a few days after he had sent them. And she ended up replying.

The two started talking on social media then and immediately developed a liking for one another

Both of them live in Canada, but in different cities – 900 km apart. But the couple made sure they met every weekend because of Himanshu’s efforts. I mean, couple goals!

Maya has a very big fan following on the app and posts quite a lot of videos.

However, Himanshu only started making his own videos after he had met and started talking to Maya. Both of them are incredibly fond of each other, and Maya says she didn’t even know herself before she met her husband – he helped her find herself.

The two told their families about their intention to marry one another and while the family was shocked that they had met on TikTok of all places, they were happy at their union

The two are now happily married and tied the knot earlier this month. They make TikTok videos together and have a fan following of their own on the app. Now, the couple posts videos together. And people seem to love their chemistry.
