A lot of times national holidays are spent lazily in bed catching up on sleep because honestly, what other alternative is there?
People don’t always have traditions for Independence Day. Eid is spent meeting family members and going to lunches or dinners but no one really does anything special for 14th August, which is pretty sad.
But thankfully there are tons of events happening around Pakistan this year, and we have compiled them in a list for you, for every city!

1. Meraki’18
This is a social responsibility program where the day will be spent with the inhabitants of Pakistan Sweet Homes.

The session is for kids and is supposed to be incredibly engaging. It’s also a great way to get your child interested in reading.

4. Tree Plantation Drive
We need to help make our country better so what better day to do that than on our Independence day? Have a nice time planting some trees and saving the environment at this event!

5. Independence Day Sightseeing

This is a big event with lots of activities for everyone; arts and crafts, singing and much more.
