You may have heard about this by now but if you haven’t, there is a massive dust storm happening in Karachi right now.
It started off pretty serious and got even worse.
Reportedly, there was at least one person killed and about twenty other people who were injured during the havoc of the storm. The damage caused stretched to ripped out trees and downed power lines all across the city of lights.
According to the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD), the storm was stronger than they expected. According to the experts, this sandstorm is to be followed by rainfall accompanied by thunder. However, for now, extremely strong winds seem to have completely engulfed the city.
And yes, the storm has been catastrophic and yes, for residents it has been quite scary.
