Doesn’t sound like the best idea!!!!
Prime Minister Imran Khan gave an interview with BBC’s John Simpson, recently.

The interview reviewed the last couple of months in which Imran was successful in diffusing pretty much a war between our fellow nuclear neighbour, India.
BBC correspondent Simpson also touched on the question of peaceful dialogue between India and Pakistan as well as militant groups in Pakistan and Imran’s plan to rid the country of all terrorist organizations in the country. This also led to the discussion of Asia Bibi, her acquittal and her departure to gain asylum which is apparently to take place in the following weeks, according to Khan.

The discussion was short but sweet. However, as the interview ended,
Simpson revealed that allegedly, Imran’s Officer who followed behind the Prime Minister carried a briefcase that held the codes to our Nuclear weapons.

Liiiiiiike!? WHAT.
Now, you can understand that if this, in fact, was true, the fact that Khan carries nuke codes around with him is not really the most reassuring thing to hear. Especially if it’s true. Because if it is, the interview just revealed that Imran carries extremely precious information on his body at all times.
Like, Sir – please no.

Of course, it didn’t take long for this news to be shared on social media where OBVIOUSLY, we were all freaking the fuck out.

And according to some, it seems that others were more knowledgable on the topic and were rest-assured that this was not a possibility.

Unbelievable that this is from the BBC. That briefcase contains a bulletproof shield, not nuclear launch codes. https://t.co/KrubSg6k5S

Itās a retractable bulletproof shield. PMās guard (in the suit) carries it in case he comes under attack.

The officer carries what is called a blast blanket which is deployed using a charge to envelope the VVIP. Otherwise, PM will have codes and also the COAS too?

And pretty much everyone else pretty much just wanted to talk about Immy’s subtle but not so subtle crotch grab.

Nice.
Anyway! For now, it seems as though our codes are safe and sound and we have nothing to worry about. But honestly, who knows at this point lol. Being a nuclear active country is not only a huge threat to other countries, but it is also a major threat to us if the weaponry falls into the wrong hands.
All we can hope for is that Immy has a solid hiding place set up for those special codes.
