Everyone around the world is starting to change their perception that you are beautiful with whatever figure you’re blessed with. Pakistanis, keeping up with their tradition, are slow to adopt new things and there is no respite if you’re not the “optimum” figure. You are ridiculed if you’re fat and you’re definitely ridiculed if you’re skinny.

Here are some of the things a skinny girl hears in Pakistan.

Comparing someone to a skeleton is an insult to the existence of that poor soul. Or calling anyone out on their weight, for that matter.

3. Every skinny girl in Pakistan has also dodged this question from every human possible, “tumharay ghar walay tumhei khana nahi deitay kiya?“

People saying this don’t know that eating is not a choice when it comes to Pakistani mommies.

4. Tum khana khati nahi sungti ho

So, if a girl tries to explain that she actually eats a lot but is lucky enough to be gifted with an amazing metabolism, you won’t believe her?

Word of advice: If you are skinny, DON’T you dare claim that you actually eat a hell lotta food.

5. People think joking, “tumhei tou ungli lagayi, tum gir paro gee” to every skinny girl in Pakistan is funny

She’d rather be thinking to herself ‘Why don’t you try me?’

6. Your legs are like matchsticks

Taangein meri maachis jaisi lekin aag lagana toh koi aap se seekhay.

7. Lagta hai hanger per kapray latkay huay hain

Don’t jahlous, k?

Okay, now this one’s pretty rude. Funny maybe. But rude.
