Singer Annie Khalid going after Nawaz Sharif but getting trolled back herself is awkward
Nawaz Sharif has been all over the news lately with his worsening health and attempts to flee abroad for treatment. For days and days, the entire country debated whether it was an actual critical condition, or merely an attempt to escape accountability.
Last week convicted former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif left for London on account of his health after the Lahore High Court
There were lots of questions raised at the privilege he had to be able to swiftly be allowed to travel out of country whereas many other regular prisoners don’t get similar facilities. People questioned random things like how nobody used a wheelchair or stretcher to carry him.
This in many ways a historic journey. In this lavish Air Ambulance Nawaz Sharif is accompanied with Shahbaz Sharif. Pakistani politics going to witness implications of this historic flight in months and years to come. pic.twitter.com/SOX20ssnvO

So singer Annie Khalid also trolled Nawaz Sharif, talking about how he may have pretended to be sick only to escape to London
While she did have a point about the privilege that our powerful politicians, across the board have but she wasn’t chronologically correct.

People were quick to point out that the singer has brought up a really old picture of Nawaz Sharif

The only good thing to come out of this is that now we know as to which of our celebrities are;
1. Dumb enough to believe sheer propaganda
2. Part of PTI propaganda WhatsApp groups
3. Dumb enough to share images without researching origins
4. All of the above
Annie is option 4 💁🏻♀️ https://t.co/lT2x5xbFlr

A lot of people claimed that Annie had trash talked Nawaz Sharif just to get attention

An old picture can only be shared to score a point by someone who's bio says her thoughts are more tangled than her hair. Do you have thought dandruff too? https://t.co/KthnnIAyii

They even dragged her career brutally
The photo was news many years ago, its not relevant to what’s happening today and no one cares about it at all … just like your music career… https://t.co/JQ073Y9y0u

She was also asked to delete her tweet
Haven’t you been told enough times that this is an old photo? Delete this. https://t.co/wYI3qS0q3y

So, naturally we at MangoBaaz, in the interest of national security did some digging to find out the origin of this picture
A quick Google search revealed that this picture belonged to the time when Nawaz Sharif shopped in at luxury store, Harrods in London back in 2016.
He underwent open-heart surgery in London back then and apparently after recovering, he went for a shopping spree as Eid ul Fitr was approaching.

Well, if Annie had known the whereabouts of the actual picture, she might have not posted it. Maybe celebrities having political opinions should get their facts straight, first?
What do you think of this situation?
