People really do love to hate don’t they, even on matters where one wouldn’t even think that there could possibly be any reason to weave out any form of discontent. Shaista Lodhi hosted a Milad at her house as the dawn of Ramazan looms upon us.
Shaista is a very well known face in the realm of television hosting and has toplined a number of transmissions in the past, not just our Good Morning Shows but also religious episodes during the holy month of Ramazan; ‘Ittehad Ramzan’ on channel ‘A Plus’ that she hosted last year, for example.

Shaista took to social media to post the event and hashtagged it #MiladAtLohdis
It was an intimate gathering, as

A luminescent stage was set for the Milad

With the host looking beautiful and fitting in pale blue lehenga

However, the host received tremendous hate, with many calling it a drama, and deeming it a publicity stunt
Brace yourselves…

And many suggesting that it was an attempt to mint money before Ramazan began

Oh boy…

Comments were both incredibly demeaning, and harsh

With a few condemning the fact that both men and women were sitting together on the stage

Verbal abuse was an unfortunate commonality against the entire function

FFS…
