Celebrities are ideals for many people. We idolize their lives, their fashion and their relationships too, so it is only natural that when a celebrity couple goes through a divorce or a split, their fans are heartbroken. Because we have so much aspiration attached to our favorite celebrities we also want all the answers. Something similar has happened in the recent case of Syra and Shahroz.
News of Shahroz Sabzwari and Syra Shahroz having split up had been making rounds on social media for the last two days
In the midst of news about their separation, people were alleging that the reason behind the separation was that Shahroz had allegedly cheated on Syra with Pakistani model Sadaf Kanwal
People had been leaving nasty comments on social media for both, Sadaf Kanwal and Shahroz Sabzwari.
Now, for the first time since the news broke Shahroz Sabzwari has made a public statement about his split with actress Syra Yousaf
As the news gained steam, and the online vitriol against Shahroz Sabzwari and Sadaf Kanwal increased by the hour, he finally broke his silence about the matter and made a video about it and posted it on his Instagram account.
In the video, Shahroz says that Syra is still very much his wife. And that the two had merely made a mature decision to separate 6 months ago because they mutually agreed that their ideologies were not matching and it was making for a bad environment in their home.
He goes on to ask, why everyone had assumed that their relationship had ended when there was no official confirmation about the news by the couple themselves or even a close or distant family member.
But what hurt Shahroz the most according to the video was the assumption made that he had been having an affair and that an innocent third party had been dragged into the mess. He says, as a Muslim and a man, he felt it was his job to defend the woman who was being wrongfully targeted. He said he met Sadaf Kanwal only a month ago for work; the two performed together at the IPPA awards earlier this month.
He said Sadaf had nothing to do with the matter and her name being involved had ruined her reputation. He said everyone who furthered the rumor needed to issue an apology to Sadaf Kanwal for maligning her name.
He even added that him and Syra both love their daughter a lot and have her best interest in mind. And that they were making sure both parents spend time with her and that their daughter was completely happy. He ended his video message by saying that all of us have to face God one day, and so does he. So we should always be mindful of that fact.
Now that there is some clarity on the matter, with an official statement from Shahroz Sabzwari himself, we can let the matter rest and the speculation can finally die down.
