Pakistani actress Sarah Khan has been toplining Pakistani dramas for quite some time now. She’s delivered a number of hits like ‘Alvida,’ and ‘Dekho Chaand Aaya,’ and is a prominent face within the drama realm. The actress, however, has never ventured into Pakistani films while many of her counterparts have.
Many Pakistani television actors have inevitably gone into Pakistani films
Blockbuster Lollywood films like ‘JPNA 2′ and ‘Parwaaz Hai Junoon’ have seen prominent drama actors like Kubra Khan, Mawra Hocane, Hania Aamir, Humayun Saeed Ahad Raza Mir and Hamza Ali Abbasi all transition from television to the big screen.
These films have also encompassed item songs and revealing clothes, something Sarah is not comfortable with
Sarah recently revealed that she had turned down a number of Pakistani films because the directors and producers required her to do things she wasn’t at ease with
The actress stated that she was “offered many films but she made it clear that she could not wear revealing clothes and she could not do item numbers.” The actress wished to work in films that only “work according to the social environment of our country.” She further stated that she doesn’t wear sleeveless, short sleeves or “backless and deep necks.”
