Really, is there ever a dull moment on a Pakistani morning show? I’ve strangely become addicted to watching them; they’re so odd, so backward and at times so regressive it’s frankly terrifying – but most times it’s downright disturbing. Sahir Lodhi’s show ‘Aap Ka Sahir’ just raised the bar of awkwardness and insensitivity by turning Jerry Springer and inviting a man to fight it out with his girlfriend and wife…
In one of the most twisted moments on Sahir’s show ever, a man was invited onto the show with his girlfriend of ten years (who didn’t know he was already married)
Nouman had allegedly promised Samreen that he would marry her – despite already being married. Samreen confessed to waiting for Nouman for ten years because he promised her he would marry her.

When she kept mentioning how she had waited for ten years, Nouman cut in and accused her of treating their relationship like a business deal

Sahir interrupted Nouman and basically told him to STFU and stop speaking to his girlfriend in such a rude manner
The controversial television host then gave Nouman a small lecture about respecting women and said: “you can’t really talk to a woman like that.” He asked him if he had any “remorse” and condemned him for saying their relationship was like a business deal.

Sahir then invited the man’s second wife, Samra onto the show as a surprise…
Nouman was shocked – he said that he had no idea she was invited onto the show, to which his girlfriend Samreen said: “sab iski marzi se ho bus.” Sahir asked Samra if he knew who Samreen was, to which she said no; “yeh hai kaun? Office mein kaam karti hai yeh toh.” (mega awkward).

Sahir crudely told Samra to “wake up and smell the coffee” before the other guests attacked Samreen and called her a homewrecker!!

Oh and here’s where it gets even more entertaining – midway through the fight Nouman revealed he’s got…TWO WIVES, NOT JUST ONE
Nouman said that it’s not easy managing two wives AND a girlfriend. He said he took her shopping, he fed her and took her to “bars,” despite managing two wives along the side. Samreen kept asking Nouman when he’d marry her, and Nouman kept saying that he’s got too many marital issues to deal with already.
