The entire world just woke up today to extremely sad news. Irrfan Khan lost the battle to his rare disease and everyone is pretty shaken up with the depressing news. He passed away at a ripe age of 53.

Bollywood and Hollywood actor Irrfan Khan passed away earlier today after struggling with cancer for two years

Irrfan Khan was diagnosed with a neuroendocrine tumor and he has been pretty much struggling since then. He fought it valiantly until the disease ultimately got the best of him.

Saba Qamar who worked with Irrfan Khan in ‘Hindi Medium’ shared her grief in a hearfelt note

She stated, ” Deeply disturbed to hear about the passing of Irrfan Khan. I still can’t absorb the news. It feels like yesterday coming back from the sets of Hindi Medium. You taught me a lot as an actor and a mentor. It is indeed a huge loss to the cinema world. Such a brilliant actor, gone too soon. You left a huge irreplaceable void in Cinema Irfan. My heartfelt condolences to his family. May Allah give them the strength to bear this loss.”

She ended the note with her character’s name in Hindi Medium.

Saba Qamar and Irrfan Khan worked together in a Bollywood movie named ”Hindi Medium” which became a massive hit 

It was Saba Qamar’s debut in Bollywood and the movie became one of the highest-grossing Indian movies in 2017. It earned massive success in China within three days of its release, also.

After the success of the movie, its sequel ”Angrezi Medium” became Irrfan’s last release. The movie, starring Kareena Kapoor and Radhika Madan alongside Irrfan is the legacy Irrfan Khan is leaving behind.
