Rana Sanaullah was arrested yesterday on the Islamabad-Lahore Motorway due to the alleged possession of drugs.
Rana Sanaullah is a very well-known and active member of the Pakistan Muslim League (PML-N). He currently serves as the Punjab President within the party and is considered a senior lawmaker. He has been around the world of Pakistani Politics for close to thirty years.
Rana Sanaullah has been tied to many big events that took place in Pakistan. Well, yesterday, Rana Sanaullah was arrested on the Islamabad-Lahore Motorway while going to Lahore from Faisalabad. He was arrested by the Lahore team of Anti Narcotics Force (ANF) due to the possession of drugs in the vehicle, but the type and quantity of drugs have not been disclosed yet. This case is still under review and more details will be shared once the case is thoroughly investigated.
While that is being investigated by appropriate authorities, Pakistani Twitter got the topic trending and a lot of people had things to say. It’s pretty safe to say some people weren’t big fans of this arrest taking place.
